Rebecca Carpenter is a Storyteller, Visual Artist and Educator. In addition to being a member of the Clio and Golden Telly winning campaign team for TACKLE CAN WAIT, Carpenter’s documentary REQUIEM FOR A RUNNING BACK has been critically acclaimed in national and international screenings and is now available on Amazon Prime.
A design thinker with formal training as a visual artist, her passion is creating science-inspired provocations for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to Title I schools. Her visual art is in private collections on three continents and she has exhibited at bG Gallery at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA, and the LA Art Show.
Michael Hirschorn is the multi-Emmy Award winning CEO of Ish Entertainment, which produces scripted and non-scripted programming. His last documentary, the critically acclaimed GRINGO, premiered at Toronto before airing on Showtime.
Previously, he headed programming at VH1, where over a span of four years he doubled ratings, contributing to a more than tripling in revenue for the network. Hirschorn was responsible for thousands of hours of programming, both scripted and non-scripted, and set-up a documentary shingle, “VH1 Rock Docs”, that produced multiple award-winning documentaries about music and youth culture. “DMC: My Adoption Journey” won Hirschorn an Emmy for Best Documentary in 2008. Additionally, he was an executive producer of “The U.S. Versus John Lennon,” a theatrical documentary released in the U.S. and internationally by Lionsgate.
